1121. Rail connectivity boost for Bihar! 4 new trains flagged off by PM Modi - Check details on new Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat and more
- On 15 September 2025, PM flagged off four trains, inaugurated the 111 km Araria–Galgalia line, and laid the foundation stone for a 26 km rail-cum-bridge in Bhagalpur, Bihar, via video conferencing.
- Prime Minister focusing on infrastructure in strategic areas, launched these projects through remote participation. The initiatives aim to improve connectivity and reduce congestion across northern and eastern Bihar.

1122. India signs MoU with ILO to align ‘Occupational Classification’ for global employment opportunities
- The Union government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) to advance the International Reference Classification of Occupations (IRCO). Labour Ministry said on 16 September, 2025.

1123. Centre allocates 41,000 tonnes urea to Andhra Pradesh
- On 16 September 2025, Agriculture Minister announced that the Centre allocated 41,170 tonnes of urea to Andhra Pradesh through multiple ports.
- The allocation includes 30,370 tonnes from CIL, 2,700 tonnes from IPL, and 8,100 tonnes from NBCL. Officials were told to prevent black marketing, and misinformation allegedly spread by YSRCP was strongly condemned.
- The minister also directed Agriculture Director S. Dilli Rao to prepare and arrange the distribution plan to different districts solely on a scientific approach, where the crop needs the urea critically based on crop stage, by duly discussing with the local administration.

- On 16 september 2025 It was reported that, By August 2025, India’s solar photovoltaic capacity reached 123,130.13 MW, forming 63.96% of total renewables (excluding large hydro). Between January–August, 25,265.41 MW were added, including 4,113.59 MW in August, marking steady nationwide growth.
- The Indian government, through policies like the Production-Linked Incentive scheme and the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers, boosted domestic solar manufacturing, ensured quality standards, and promoted large-scale adoption of clean energy across households, businesses, and industries.
- India’s total renewable capacity stood at 192.517 GW, with solar and wind contributing 175.81 GW. Rooftop solar reached 20.85 GW, hybrids 3.26 GW, and off-grid systems 5.12 GW. Challenges remain in land acquisition and grid integration, though global market shifts reduced costs.

1127. India’s goods exports rise 6.7% in August to $35.10 billion, trade deficit narrows
- On September 15, 2025 Commerce Ministry data showed India’s August 2025 exports at $35.10 billion, up 6.7% year-on-year, while imports dropped 10.12% to $61.59 billion, reducing the trade deficit to $26.49 billion.
- Exports to the US grew 7.15% to $6.86 billion, front-loaded before tariffs, but slowed from July’s $8 billion, with engineering exports falling 5% under tariff stress, exposing $20 billion trade at risk.
- April–August 2025 exports rose 2.52% to $184.13 billion; imports increased 2.14% to $306.52 billion, leaving a $122.39 billion trade deficit. Exporters urged more MSME support and timely incentives amid global tariff challenges.

1128. Titagarh Rail Systems launches third indigenous diving support craft for Indian Navy
- On September 15, 2025 It was reported that TRSL launched the third Diving Support Craft into the Hooghly River at 16:10, under the Ministry of Defence’s Make in India initiative.
- The DSC, launched by Mrs. Kangana Berry, is designed to support Navy diving teams through underwater repair, salvage, and training, using domestically sourced systems.
- TRSL has delivered over 35 vessels and is expanding its shipbuilding capacity at Falta shipyard, with upcoming projects including Coastal Research Vessels for the Geological Survey of India.
